Rob and Heather who run this place really need to get more organized and perhaps some more tact and kindness when dealing with the people coming there for help. They also take absolutely no responsibility for any mistakes they make.I had issues with a simple financial agreement, I was told I would have it before I came, then my husband was told it would be sent once I arrived. He was also told he could contact Aidan for updates, he tried twice, once to see how I was doing, and once to ask for the financial agreement, he never received a response the entire time I was there. I had to go and ASK about it myself after being there for a week already, as I was looking to leave a couple days early and was told by other clients there is a 5 day notice to leave or they will charge you. I was NEVER told this when I arrived or the entire week I was there. When I did ask for the agreement, I was given one with incorrect information and was expected to sign it, when I declined, it was sent to my husband with a request to sign, all while I did not have access to my cell phone and was unable to discuss it with him. When I asked for a meeting with Rob because I was feeling some mistrust about the situation, he proceeded to talk over me and say FOUR times that I was making a terrible accusation. I was trying to express my FEELINGS, and he refused to listen to anything I was trying to say. While I was there it was incredibly disorganized, very little structure. There was 1 NA meeting the entire 8 days I was there, although the “schedule” said 1 per day.The couple positives were the nurses and support staff they have are wonderful and do their best to support the clients, and the location is lovely. If you want to go somewhere and be able to do what you like, not have to participate in anything except perhaps 3 hours in the morning for psycho- Ed, and have no 12 steps then this is the place for you.
